Born in
Greenville, TX, Lew has spent most of his life doing things slightly
"outside of the box." While school work was never much of a
task for him, he always learned more towards the creative side of
things. Lew spent a lot of time drawing and painting in and
out of school even though no art classes of any sort were ever
available to him. His unique style has adapted from having to
figure out how to do things himself as well as using only a limited
amount or quality of materials. Always a problem solver, Lew
tried to find simple and efficient ways in order to create
meaningful art and music. This portfolio is only a sample of
his skills and creations. Many of his works were never
photographed or archived. Lew has a variety of skills that are
not only limited to artistic and creative endeavors, though those
are his main focus. Currently, Lew writes and plays with the
band Coilback, as well as sometimes working on the side with other
bands. He also does website design (including this one),
graphic design, painting, drawing, animation, set design, and is
also a licensed pyrotechnician in the State of Texas.
