05/12/06 : We want to thank everyone who came out to the show at Tomcats on April 29th. We had a blast and it was definitely one of the craziest shows we've done in a long time. We'd also like to once again thank Ray Deauman for standing in on bass. We are still looking for a permanent bass player, so feel free to drop us a line. If you didn't make the show and want to hear one of the new songs - we have a live recording of "Intolerate Me" from that show on our MySpace profile at www.myspace.com/coilback.

04/17/06 : We know a lot of you have been asking, so we have finally booked a show for you guys to check out some of the new songs that are being prepared for the upcoming album. We have a show through Red Ant Entertainment and this one has a ticket pre-sale. Please visit the SHOWS page to purchase tickets (the band doesn't get credit on non-presale tickets). Don't miss it as we aren't booking a lot of shows until after the new album is finished !!!

02/26/06 : Heading to SXSW this year ? While Coilback can't make it out - Podpak will be passing out some compilation CDs with "Hate Me" on there - so keep a look out for them. 02/01/06 : Well, the new year has brought a few new changes to the band and the sound. Member changes as well as a new upcoming album and some more radio play and places to get your Coilback fix. The merch section is working again as well. Check there for more places to get Coilback, and check the PRESS section for a new interview with Coilback.

11/05/05 : We would like to thank everyone that came out to the show on Oct 28th at the Scaregrounds. It was one of the best crowds we have played for and we really enjoyed it. There are plenty of new pics up in the gallery section. Keep checking back for upcoming information on the new album !!!

10/26/05 : First of all, we now have a news archive so you can see any announcements you might have missed. You can click the link above to view that. Now here's the update many have been waiting for. Please formally welcome John McCauley as the new drummer of Coilback. His bio can be found in the press section and updates can also be found under the band bio. Come out on the 28th to see his live debut !!!

10/08/05 : Coilback is returning to the stage Oct 28th with the new lineup and new material. Come see Coilback at the Dallas Scaregrounds with Thick Skind and BFE. Come for the music, stay for the haunted houses.

09/28/05 : Just to let everyone know Coilback is still alive and kicking. We have auditioned a few drummers and may have found someone to fill in permanently. Shortly after the drummer is in place, we will pick up where we left off with getting the new album put together. Also, CD sales have been great with CD Baby, so we thank all of you for that. If you have any issues trying to purchase any items from the Coilback store, please email lewis@coilback.com

05/28/05 : Steven Green is no longer a member of Coilback. For the next few weeks, Coilback will be auditioning new drummers. If you are (or know) a drummer interested in trying out, please contact lew@coilback.com . The recording of the new album as well as any tour dates will be delayed until a proper replacement is found.
