Coilback - Love Is Dead
If you crave metal the way it used to be - yet want something current sounding, this is the band for you. They’re reminiscent of a mix of Metallica, Dio, Megadeth and Black Sabbath - but with their own vibe. The 13-track CD, to be available in August, includes “Love Is Dead,” “Let Me Go,” “Take It From Me.” It’s well produced and arranged. The band lineup is Lew Morris (guitar/vocals), Vlad Cadillac (bass) and Steven Green (drums). Known for high energy, live performances and even an occasional fireworks display, Dallas’ Coilback is a band to keep an eye on. (John Binder)
